About the Artists

Kim Parr Roenigk and Youngmi Song Organ are two highly skilled MFAs trained in fine arts as painters. Combined, they have served as art professors at some of the leading colleges in the Baltimore-Washington metro area, such as MICA, Corcoran and Johns Hopkins. Individually, Parr and Song both work as fine artists, currently showing their work at local and national levels. Among many accolades and awards, Song’s work has been reviewed in Art In America and Parr received the Franz Bader Fund grant.

Under the name of ParrSong Studio + Design, the artists work directly with clients and designers to transform homes, offices and businesses. Together, Parr and Song specialize in murals, faux finishes, painted furniture, hand-painted wallpaper and custom paintings for both commercial and residential spaces. They are committed to materializing the dreams of both clients and designers, moving from concepts and ideas to concrete, tangible, finished products.
